Perennial Borders Quilt Pattern
Anna Maria...At first glance this design is practically an oversized Courthouse Step block. However, I broke the Courthouse Step method here and there to grow the quilt from the center to the edges in a less than straightforward order. The result really shows off beautiful border fabrics in a variety of widths and orientations. The focus of this pattern is to teach my favorite method for fabric repeat matching for the pieced borders which will involve a little fussy cutting. The rest of the quilt top is a relaxing and simple joy to sew!
